hydrodynamic microvisualization
an experiment in handheld computation

this work explores visualization and computation on small handheld devices.

typically, palm-sized computers are used for phone lists and calendars, which fail to realize the potential of the rich computational environment afforded in such a small device.

the application shown here simulates the hydrodynamics of two fluids, that are 'immiscible', like oil and water.

observe how the two media interact with one another as their directions are shifted about in the simulation.

this project is based on a similar java-based version that i developed for a class project. it's faster and the fluids can be controlled with the mouse. wee! fun!
